Our take on JustMarkets
Verdict in Brief
JustMarkets has been active since 2012 and is built mainly for leveraged forex and CFD trading. The $10 entry point and familiar MetaTrader setup make it easy to approach, while copy trading and high leverage give more experienced international clients room to trade in different ways. The important caveat is regulation: the level of protection changes with the legal entity, and only Cyprus accounts sit within the stronger European compensation framework.
The broker makes the most sense for forex traders choosing between simple spread-only pricing and a commission-based raw-spread account. It is a weaker match for investors who want real shares, exchange-traded funds, bonds or a more specialized institutional platform.

Can JustMarkets Be Trusted?
Regulation and Licenses
The JustMarkets brand is used by five regulated companies:
- Just Global Markets Ltd is registered in the Seychelles under number 8427198-1 and regulated by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority under license SD088.
- JustMarkets Ltd is registered in Cyprus under number HE 361312 and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission under license 401/21.
- Just Global Markets (PTY) Ltd is registered in South Africa under number 2020/263432/07 and authorized by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority as Financial Services Provider 51114.
- Just Global Markets (MU) Limited is registered in Mauritius under number 194590 and regulated by the Financial Services Commission under license GB22200881.
- Just Global Markets (VG) Limited is registered in the British Virgin Islands under number 2139756 and regulated by the British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission under license SIBA/L/24/1177.
CySEC provides the strongest retail framework in the group, with European conduct rules, tighter leverage limits and access to compensation for eligible clients. The offshore and non-European regulators still provide formal supervision, but not the same safety net. Before funding an account, traders should check which company appears in the client agreement rather than relying on the group license list alone.
Through its international service, JustMarkets does not accept clients from several major markets, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and Japan. Access elsewhere depends on local law and the group company serving that region.
Client Money Protection
Client money is kept apart from the broker's operating funds. This separation is an important safeguard because it limits the use of customer balances for day-to-day corporate expenses. It does not, however, protect a trader from losses caused by the market.
If the Cyprus company cannot meet its obligations, eligible retail clients may claim through the Investor Compensation Fund. The limit is the lower of 90% of a valid cumulative claim and €20,000. Accounts opened under the other group entities do not receive this protection.
Negative Balance Protection
Negative balance protection means a completed loss should not leave the account permanently below zero once the broker makes the required adjustment. That safeguard is valuable during gaps and fast markets, but it should not be confused with protection of the original deposit. Sensible position sizing and enough free margin remain more important.
Security and Company Track Record
More than a decade in operation and regulation across several jurisdictions are reassuring signs. The main limitation is transparency: JustMarkets is privately owned, so investors do not get the same depth of public financial reporting available from a listed broker.
Account security relies on identity checks, one-time passwords and restrictions on third-party funding. These controls help reduce fraud, although the legal entity still decides the more important questions of compensation, complaints and leverage.
Pricing and Trading Costs
Forex Spreads and Commissions
Spreads float with market conditions. Standard and Standard Cent start from 0.3 pips without a separate commission, while Pro starts from 0.1 pips. Raw Spread quotes from 0.0 pips and adds $3 per side per lot, bringing the round-turn commission on one standard lot to $6.
The average spreads are about 0.7 pips on EUR/USD, 2 points on XAU/USD, 1.8 points on US30, 1 point on Brent, 59.1 points on BTC/USD and 1.1 points on Apple CFDs. They are useful reference points, not promises. Live pricing changes with liquidity, volatility, market hours and account type.
Overnight Financing Charges
Swap-free status is available on eligible accounts, but it does not automatically make every overnight position free to hold. Exclusions and alternative charges can still apply, especially to energy markets such as WTI, Brent and natural gas.
When swaps are charged, the amount varies with the instrument, direction, contract size and number of nights held. A triple rollover may be applied on the relevant settlement day. Cyprus clients can face a different swap-free policy, including an order handling fee in some circumstances.
Funding and Currency Conversion Costs
JustMarkets does not normally charge its own fees for deposits or withdrawals. The final cost can still change because banks, card issuers, wallets, payment processors and blockchain networks may charge separately. A mismatch between the payment currency and the account’s base currency adds conversion costs as well.
Available base currencies include USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, MYR, IDR, THB, VND, KWD, CNY, ZAR, AED, NGN and USC, depending on region and account type. Matching the account currency to the usual funding currency is the simplest way to avoid unnecessary conversion.
Inactivity and Other Charges
After 150 consecutive days without a trade, deposit or withdrawal, a positive-balance account can be charged $5 every 30 days. The fee stops once activity resumes or the balance reaches zero.
The other costs to watch are overnight financing, provider fees, blockchain charges and currency conversion. MT4, MT5 and the mobile app do not carry a general platform subscription fee.
Accounts and Minimum Deposit
Account Options
JustMarkets offers four account types, ranging from the beginner-friendly Standard Cent account to the Raw Spread option designed for active and high-volume traders.
The minimum trade size is 0.01 lot. Standard Cent displays the balance in cents, giving beginners a more forgiving way to practice position sizing with real money. Standard, Pro and Raw Spread are better suited to conventional CFD trading, although availability varies by entity and region.
Demo and Swap-Free Accounts
Demo versions of MT4 and MT5 are useful for learning order types, indicators and Expert Advisors without risking capital. They recreate the platform well, but not the emotional pressure, slippage or execution uncertainty of a live account.
Anyone planning to hold trades overnight should confirm the swap-free terms first, as exclusions and alternative fees may still apply.
Products and Trading Conditions
Tradable Markets
More than 250 CFDs are available, with forex clearly at the center of the product range. Traders can also access metals, energy products, stock indices, company shares and cryptocurrency pairs. The currency list covers major, minor and selected exotic pairs.
This is enough variety for most retail CFD strategies, but not for building a long-term investment portfolio. Share CFDs do not confer ownership or voting rights, and there is no broad range of bonds or exchange-traded funds.
Leverage and Margin Requirements
Eligible international clients can access leverage of up to 1:3000 on selected forex and gold instruments. The ceiling is lower elsewhere, including up to 1:500 on some cryptocurrency and index CFDs, 1:200 on Brent and 1:20 on selected share CFDs. Actual limits can fall further as equity, position size, market conditions or entity rules change.
International accounts use a 40% margin call and a 20% stop-out level. Once the stop-out threshold is reached, the platform can begin closing positions automatically. In a fast market, the final result may still be worse than the level shown because liquidation can slip.
Execution Quality and Trading Rules
Orders use market execution, so the price shown when an order is sent is not guaranteed. The final fill can be better or worse, with the largest differences usually appearing around major news, market openings and thin trading periods.
Scalping, hedging, news trading, one-click orders and Expert Advisors are all permitted. There are still practical restrictions to keep in mind: leverage may be reduced around high-impact events, share CFD terms can change during earnings season, and ordinary stop-loss orders remain vulnerable to gaps because guaranteed stops are not listed.
Platforms and Trading Features
Supported Platforms
MetaTrader is the core of the platform lineup. MT4 will feel familiar to forex traders and users of older Expert Advisors, while MT5 adds more timeframes, a wider toolkit and a stronger strategy tester. A browser-based WebTerminal and native apps for Android and iOS round out access away from the desktop.
The mobile app handles trading, account management, deposits and withdrawals in one place. It is convenient for monitoring positions, although complex chart work and always-on automation still belong on desktop MetaTrader.
Charts, Research and Analysis
Most of the charting strength comes from MetaTrader itself: built-in indicators, drawing tools, templates, custom scripts and one-click order entry. The wider MetaTrader ecosystem can extend this much further, but traders need to install and manage those add-ons themselves.
For day-to-day preparation, JustMarkets publishes market analysis, an economic calendar, news, technical commentary and trading ideas. The material is practical for retail traders, though it does not reach the depth or originality of institutional research.
Automated and Copy Trading
Expert Advisors can run on MT4 or MT5. Keeping them online around the clock requires a third-party VPS because JustMarkets does not offer its own hosting service. More advanced system integration is limited too, with no proprietary public API or listed FIX connection.
Copy trading follows a strategy provider proportionally under MT4-based Standard or Pro conditions. The minimum deposits are $10 and $200 respectively. Risk scores and allocation settings give followers some control, but the outcome still depends on decisions made by another trader.
Learning Materials
The education library covers the basics through articles, a glossary, videos, webinars and guides to platforms, technical analysis and market terminology. It is a useful starting point, but beginners will still need a written risk plan and gradual exposure to live conditions.
Joining JustMarkets
Registration and Identity Checks
Opening an account starts with an email address, phone number and password, followed by personal, residency and financial details. Verification usually requires a passport, identity card, residence permit or driving license, plus proof of address issued within the previous six months. A selfie may also be requested.
Approval Times
Clear documents with matching information can pass the automated checks quickly. A manual review may take up to one working day, or longer if images are cropped, details conflict or extra evidence is needed.
The payment method normally needs to belong to the verified account holder. Third-party deposits are rejected, and withdrawals are routed through an approved method held in the client's name.
Funding Your Account
Deposit and Withdrawal Methods
Funding options cover Mastercard, Visa, bank wire, Airtm, Skrill, Neteller and Sticpay. Crypto users can choose from Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, Tether, USD Coin, Bitcoin Cash, Dogecoin and Tron. Additional local methods appear inside the Personal Area.
Exact limits appear after login because they depend on country, currency and verification status. Cards and wallets are generally the most convenient for routine transfers, bank wires suit larger amounts, and crypto payments demand extra care when selecting the asset and network.
Processing Times
JustMarkets states that it can process a deposit or withdrawal on its side in about one minute under normal conditions. That does not mean the funds always arrive immediately. Electronic methods are usually quicker, while bank and card transfers may take one to three business days. Withdrawal approval ranges from several minutes to 24 hours and can take longer when ownership or transaction details need checking.

Help and Customer Service
Contact Options and Availability
Customer service is available 24 hours a day through live chat, the Support Hub, email, WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram and telephone. The contact details include [email protected], +248 4632027 and +230 52970330.
For account-specific or sensitive matters, the authenticated Support Hub is the safer and more appropriate channel.
Response Speed and Service Quality
Live chat is the quickest route for ordinary platform or account questions. Support Hub tickets are generally answered within 24 hours, while payment, verification and trade investigations may need more time. Including the account number, transaction reference, trade ticket, platform time and screenshots can prevent several rounds of follow-up.
Languages and Complaint Handling
Customer support is available in English, Indonesian, Malaysian, Spanish, Portuguese, Vietnamese and Arabic. The website itself reaches a wider audience with French, Turkish, Russian, Thai, Bengali, Persian, Chinese and Korean interfaces.
When an issue remains unresolved, the next step is the formal complaints procedure of the company with which the account is held. Traders should keep trade numbers, payment references, platform logs, dates and earlier correspondence, since escalation rights differ from one regulator to another.
How JustMarkets Compares
Better Choice for New Traders
FXGlory is easier to enter with a $1 minimum on its Standard account, fixed- and floating-spreads options and access to MT4 or MT5. That makes it a low-cost way to become familiar with live execution, though $1 is not enough to absorb normal trading risk. JustMarkets asks for $10, but Standard Cent gives beginners a more practical environment for learning position sizing.
Better Choice for Lower Costs
HF Markets is a strong alternative for traders who want raw-spread pricing without a large initial deposit. Its Zero account starts from 0.0 pips and charges $3 per side, or $6 for a completed standard lot, matching the commission on the JustMarkets Raw Spread account. The main advantage is accessibility, as HF Markets lists no minimum opening deposit for its international Zero account. It also provides MT4, MT5, WebTrader and its own HFM platform, while JustMarkets may remain more suitable for traders who prefer its cent account or copy trading service.
Better Choice for Experienced Traders
Pepperstone gives experienced traders more choice at platform level, combining MT4 and MT5 with cTrader, TradingView and its own interface. JustMarkets answers with a lower entry point and higher maximum leverage for eligible international clients. Anyone whose workflow depends on cTrader or TradingView is still likely to find Pepperstone the better fit.
Reasons to Choose JustMarkets
- Low entry requirements and four account structures.
- Spread-only and raw-spread pricing.
- Desktop, web and mobile MetaTrader access.
- Support for Expert Advisors, scalping, hedging and copy trading.
- Swap-free availability for eligible accounts.
How We Reviewed JustMarkets
Testing and Scoring Process
Every broker is assessed using the same review methodology and scoring framework. Applying consistent criteria across all reviews makes it easier to compare brokers on matters such as regulation, pricing, platforms, account conditions, market access, funding, and customer support. A full explanation of the process is available on our broker review methodology page.
Editorial and Commercial Disclosure
Our broker reviews are produced independently and do not constitute personal financial advice. The same methodology, scoring criteria, and editorial standards are applied to every broker, and no commercial relationships influence our evaluations.
Broker terms can change after publication. While we review and update broker information regularly, readers should still confirm current spreads, commissions, leverage limits, minimum deposits, promotions, payment methods, restricted jurisdictions, and client protection measures before opening or funding an account.
Final Assessment
JustMarkets brings together a low entry point, flexible account pricing and the familiar MetaTrader environment in a credible forex and CFD package. Automated copy trading adds useful depth. Even so, the broker is better suited to traders who understand margin and compare the full cost of an account rather than being drawn in by the lowest advertised spread.
The main weakness is the uneven level of protection across the group. Cyprus clients receive stronger safeguards but lower leverage, while international accounts trade some of that protection for greater flexibility. That choice of legal entity should come before account type, leverage or promotional terms.
